What was the highlight of Main Palace Hotel
Review
The hotel is fabulous, and the staff are great, always helpful. Fabulous if you want to sit by pool or on the beach. Room was serviced daily, absolutely anything you asked of staff, they would assist. Always someone around to assist or serve at the coffee bar. Easy 5 min walk to train station, we used the station and trenitalia app to travel to places like Taormina, Messina, and Catania.
I'm not sure if out of season (mid Sept), we think so as lorries came and took everything on the beach, including the pavements. All the shops and restaurants were shut during the day and some in the evening too unless you walked into Furci or travelled further afield. Everything was shut. Aside from that, beautiful place, very relaxing.

Excellent!
The location is very good, the staff attentive, the view from the room is excellent!
The pillows are not comfortable, there was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom, we had to buy it at the local market. In the last 3 days of our stay there was not enough replacement of the hygiene products offered by the hotel itself, the TV is not a smart TV.

Good but still needs improvement.
Location and room facing to sea was great. Reception, cleaning and restaurant/ bar staff were kind and helpful.
Hotel answers to my email prior to trip left without answer even after 2 days, only when I called hotel two times on different days I got answer to my question and also night upon arrival I didnt get any answer to my email. I booked and payed car place from hotel garage, second night somebody parked partly to our place and I mentioned to reception about it, still whole next day car was taking 2 parking places. Luckily I got new parking place (most local ppl drive car like grazy and don´t care how they park their car and are very rude at traffic). Roof terrace was mentioned in hotel info but was closed and looked like under renovation or so. I mentioned about these issues to kind reception person upon check-out and payment and was hoping small contribution after all hassle (I got -5€ reduction with rude behavior from hotel manager. Staff is kind but I think hotel Manager should check her behaviour towards clients, she was simply rude!

What was the highlight of Main Palace Hotel
Nice pool and oceanview
The pool. The ocean view. Staff was polite.
The smell of smoke in the room. The furnuture was old. The bathing cap in the swimmingpool was uncomfortanle. Small children of ages 2-3 was refusing the cap and i saw families leaving the pool because of this. It was also confusing with the service around the pool, people orded food and drinks but there was no official service there.
